Therapeutic Exercise
Therapeutic exercises are guided movements that will improve strength, decrease pain, increase flexibility, and restore function. Our therapists will identify specific imbalances and limitations of muscles and joints during the evaluation that will lead them to choosing therapeutic exercises that will provide the most benefit to the client.

Manual Therapy
Manual therapy includes multiple hands on interventions that address pain, tightness, joint immobility, and decreased coordination. This can include massage, joint mobilizations, manual stretching, manual traction, and others. Factors identified in the evaluation such as joint and tissue restrictions will help your therapist to identify which manual therapy technique(s) will be most effective in addressing any imbalances or limitations.

Neuromuscular
Re-education
Neuromuscular re-education represents a series of therapeutic techniques to restore normal function of nerves and muscles, to include movement, balance, coordination, decreased kinesthetic sense, and impaired proprioception. Activity restrictions and impairments identified in your evaluation will help guide your therapist to identify which of these techniques will help to restor your optimal function.

Fall Prevention and Balance Training
Impaired balance can be due to either strength deficits, impairments in proprioception (the ability to tell where the body is in space), or the vestibular system (the inner ear), or a combination of these systems. After a thorough evaluation that identifies client specific limitations, the physical therapist can guide a client through a variety of exercises that emphasizes one or multiple systems in both stationary and dynamic positions in order to improve overall balance.

Sports Conditioning
The physical therapist will perform a thorough assessment to identify and treat any imbalances or weaknesses in strength, motion, ability, or dynamic coordination that is specific to a client's sport in order to allow for maximal performance and injury prevention.

Kinesiology Taping
Considered to be a form of manual therapy, kinesiology taping allows for the facilitation of muscle activation, posture, or alignment applied by the physical therapist in order to decrease pain and improve function toward client goals.
